Director of Music – Clarendon First UMC

Clarendon First United Methodist Church in Clarendon, Arkansas, a congregation of Christians rich in musical talent, has a tradition of excellence in instrumental, organ and vocal music worship. The church is actively recruiting to fill the part-time position of Director of Music Ministry. 

Main responsibilities include leadership of music ministries for all worship services to include a broad range of musical styles, inspiring all ages to worship God fully. This part-time position is responsible for the rehearsals and performances of the Chancel Choir and the River Ringers Handbell Choir to ensure they receive adequate direction, leadership, instruction, practice and performance across the broad range of ages and experience. The candidate will be a strong pianist, and preferably also play guitar.
