A False Choice

Of course you want to do what God wants you to do. But you also have to deal with real life that involves family, work, running a home, painful experiences and managing your finances. That’s because God calls you to love God with everything you’ve got and to love others in everything you do. And there is nothing more real life than doing that. Sure, you’ll have to work at it. But you’ll discover how doable it is if you keep asking God a simple question all day long, “Lord, how can what I’m doing right this moment become a way to love you and others as fully as I possibly can?”
